However, no matter how many boats enter, the tournament guarantees a minimum payout of $100,000—making it one of the most rewarding winner-take-all blue marlin competitions in the world.
A “recognized tournament” refers to annual, established events that utilize certified scales and are conducted with the presence of a weighmaster and spectator witnesses, and are included on the Marlin Global Challenge Recognized Tournament list.
