Team Tahla’o won the 51st Annual Antigua & Barbuda Sports Fishing Club Tournament. They received an invitation to compete at the 2018 Lucas Oil Offshore World Championship in Quepos, Costa Rica.

Team The Usual Suspects, captained by Tommy Donlin, were the winners of the 2017 Washington Tuna Classic. Tommy and his crew beat out 60-plus other teams fishing for the heaviest five tuna in this year’s event.

Team Gunfighter won the 2017 New Orleans Invitational Billfish Tournament, based out of Venice, Louisiana. Hauling in 1,480 points, the crew won first place and the opportunity to fish in the Offshore World Championship.

Team Carlos Gloria recently won the XIV Torneio Internacional de Pesca Grossa Clube De Vela De Lagos out of Portugal. The team's 1st place finish guarantees them a spot in this year's Offshore World Championship.

Team NAOMI won the XXV Torneo de Pesca de Altura Wahoo Azul Puerto Calero. The winning team will represent the Canary Islands (Spain) in the Offshore World Championship in April 2018.

Courtesy Cairns Light-Tackle Billfish Tournament

Team Levante takes the top prize at the Cairns Light-Tackle Billfish Tournament (Australia). Held at Fitzroy Island, the Cairns Bluewater Game Fishing Club’s 3-day Light-Tackle Billfish Tournament in late August produced 247 tagged billfish from just 35 boats. Team Levante, skippered by Chris ‘Sharky’ Miles, won the top prize with 23 tags.

Team Mojo won the Tuna Fever Rogoznica 2017, hosted by Big game fishing Croatia out of Split, Croatia. Captain Maro Mihočević and his team are now qualified for the Offshore World Championship in Costa Rica.

Team Bendito was victorious at the 2017 International Martinique Billfish Tournament. Two blue marlin catches on Day 3 shot them to first place and the win.

Team Occhionauti scored the win at this year's TheO' Game Genoa fishing tournament (Italy). Capt. Maurizio Bongini, Luca Stefanelli, Crisitiano Lagostena and Alessandro Piana are now qualified for the 2018 Offshore World Championship in Quepos, Costa Rica.

Captain Ivan Bennett and Team Ambition won this year's Garmin Billfish Shootout, held by the Newcastle Port Stephens Game Fish Club (Australia).
