IGFA Offshore World Championship 2012
Attention qualifying Anglers:
Congratulations on your success in one of our many IGFA Offshore World Championship Qualifying events. If you are receiving this email you were a registered team member on one of the top three finishing teams of a Qualifying event. By rule the first place team members have the first right to apply to represent the tournament at the 2012 IGFA Offshore World Championship scheduled for May 13-18. If the first place team declines then the first runner up team will receive the application. If they are not able to attend then the second runner up may apply to represent the tournament at the Championship. And remember, you only need one of the original team members to attend as the team captain, so please let all your crew know and get back to us with your intentions. You have earned the chance to compete in the World Championship, don’t let the opportunity pass you by.
The team entry fee is $8,000 to fish the Championship and includes up to four anglers receiving the welcome gifts, attendance at all parties , four days of fishing aboard Cabos best charter boats, fishing licenses and water. Additional anglers can be added for $750 and we offer many non angler activities including a fun rooster fish tournament and a day of shopping and dining in Todo Santos. Our private transportation partner Transcabo has special offers for the angler’s airport transfers and the Hotel Finisterra has special room rates for $150 per night including all taxes and gratuities.
The Championship has already registered many teams for this year’s event and it looks like we will see another great international field of competitors. The attending participants will enjoy festive parties, great gifts, meet anglers from all over the world and compete for $100,000 in prizes and take on the world to become crowned as the IGFA Offshore World Champion! The event takes place from lands end at the beautiful Finisterra overlooking the rich waters of the Pacific and Sea of Cortez.

The teams hit the water May 14th aboard a select group of Cabo’s experienced charter fleets, with many of them having major tournament wins to their crew’s credit.
