Team Salty Marine took top honors in the 32nd annual New Smyrna/Daytona Beach Striker offshore tournament, presented by Trophy Boats Saturday.

The
Tuna Time, a boat out of Longwood, took second overall with 58.6 pounds. Justin Larson caught the biggest dolphin to make that weight. It was also the largest fish weighed in the event.
Bring Two of Altamonte Springs, took third overall with a 56-pound dolphin that earned David Yovaish Jr., 15, top honors for the junior anglers. All-In pulled down fourth in the 93-boat competition with two tuna weighing 53.4 pounds. Marco Del Moral of

Hosted by Sport Fishing and Marlin magazines, FishStock 2008 actually includes two tournaments, besides the offshore Striker tournament, the 6th annual New Smyrna Beach Redfish and Trout Challenge, presented by Hells Bay Boats, began Saturday. Each team could weigh in two redfish and two speckled trout.

Young anglers, those between the ages of 6 and 16, may enjoy the KidStock activities. In a series of fishing clinics, they will learn such skills as basic knot tying, bait and tackle selection and other fishing techniques. Clinics begin at various times from 11 a.m. through 3 p.m. Sunday.
